16-17 March 2026 Work-from-Anywhere for Civil Servants and Private Sector Employees
Although 16 and 17 March 2026 are not official public holidays, a work-from-anywhere (WFA) policy has been implemented for civil servants and private sector employees. WFA operates both before and after the Eid holiday.
The government has officially implemented a work-from-anywhere (WFA) policy for civil servants (ASN) during the Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr 2026 holidays. However, it should be noted that this WFA policy does not constitute an additional day off.
According to the Circular of the Minister of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform Number 2 of 2026 on WFA for ASN during Nyepi and Eid 2026, this is the WFA schedule for civil servants during Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr 2026:
Two days before Nyepi sacred holiday and joint leave (Saka New Year 1948):
Monday, 16 March 2026
Tuesday, 17 March 2026
Three days after Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri national holiday and joint leave:

Additionally, the government has established flexible working arrangement (FWA) or work-from-anywhere (WFA) policies for private sector workers/employees before and after Eid 2026. There are five WFA days for Eid 2026 for private sector employees.
According to the Ministry of Manpower website, this policy aims to manage the surge in public mobility around Eid al-Fitr. This is the WFA schedule for Eid 2026 for private sector workers/employees:
