Ardy wins Sweden Open

JAKARTA (JP): Old hand Ardy B Wiranata of Indonesia beat Budi
Santoso, a junior, in Sunday's all-Indonesian final of the Sweden
Open badminton championship 15-10, 15-10.

After his victory, Ardy said he planned to reach the world's
top 16 so he could take part in the World Championships in
Glasgow in May.

Antara reported that Ardy, ranked 27th, had been absent from
badminton for seven months after suffering hepatitis. He started
his comeback at the Thailand Open in November.

His victory in Sweden is his biggest since his return. (yan)
