Archer Rina wins recurve crown

MANILA: Archer Rina Dewi Puspita Sari won the women's recurve archery event at the Remy Baseball field in Olongapo City, near Subic Bay, on Saturday.

The silver went to Rina's compatriot Yasmidar with the Philippines' Rachelle Anne Cabral rounding out the podium spots.

In the men's recurve event, Indonesians Rahmat Sulistiyawan, Kuswantoro, Hendro Suprianto and Lookoneco crashed out in the early rounds.

The men's recurve champion was Zaw Win Htike of Myanmar, followed by Mohd. Khalmisam Wan of Malaysia and Filipino Marvin Cordero. -- Antara
