Ara Inaugurates Mortgage Agreement for 51 BCA Subsidised Houses under Sejahtera Programme in Serang

SERANG, KOMPAS.com - The Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), Maruarar Sirait or Ara, attended the Sejahtera Mortgage agreement for 51 subsidised housing units facilitated by BCA in Puri Harmoni, Serang, Banten, on Tuesday (28/4/2026).

On this occasion, Ara appreciated BCA’s commitment to realising support for subsidised housing financing, which has been consistent since it was conveyed at several previous events.

“I appreciate that the BCA President Director is committed to what was stated and consistent with what was conveyed a while ago,” said Ara during the agreement event in Puri Harmoni, Serang, Banten.

She recalled that the commitment had been conveyed since the agreement in September 2025 in Cileungsi, Bogor, with an achievement of 26,000 housing units.

“From September until now, in about six to seven months, it has been realised. This means it is consistent with what was stated at the time of the agreement,” she said.

For the event in Serang, the subsidised mortgage agreement was conducted hybridly at three locations with a total of 51 subsidised housing units.

Of that number, 20 units are located in Puri Harmoni, Serang. The rest are in Puri Harmoni Cileungsi and Puri Harmoni Tangerang.

“Today we will sign for 51 houses hybridly at three locations, and here itself there are 20 units,” explained BCA President Director Hendra Lembong on the same occasion.

The Sejahtera Mortgage is part of the government’s efforts together with the banking sector to expand access to home ownership for low-income communities (MBR).
