Aquatic, cycling schedules revised

JAKARTA (JP): The Kuala Lumpur Southeast Asian (SEA) Games organizers revised the aquatic and cycling competition schedules to enable athletes to rest and also reduce overlapping of live telecasts of the events.

Bernama quoted the organizers' operations chief Mohd. Zaki Abdul Rahman as saying that the aquatic -- including swimming, diving, synchronized diving and synchronized swimming -- will take place from Sept. 9 to Sept. 17 instead of from Sept. 9 to Sept. 13 as originally scheduled.

The cycling events will be held from Sept. 9 to Sept. 15 instead of from Sept. 10 to Sept. 16 as previously scheduled. (yan)
