On the occasion of Idul Adha 1447 Hijriyah, several parties are expanding social activities to benefit the community, including supporting the renovation of places of worship. Waterproofing manufacturer Aquaproof has provided renovation materials for five mosques and musallas across four Indonesian cities.

Through its corporate social responsibility programme #AquaproofBerbagi, the aid was directed to Mushola At-Taubah in Tuban, Masjid Al-Jihad in Bandung, Masjid Al-Ikhlas and Masjid Sabilul Huda in Yogyakarta, and Masjid Nurul Ibad in Serang.

The initiative focuses on renovating building sections requiring additional protection from water seepage and moisture, particularly exterior areas.

Chandra Kurniawan, Marketing Manager of PT Adhi Cakra Utama Mulia, stated the activity is part of the company’s efforts to support community comfort during worship, especially during Idul Adha.

“This assistance is a demonstration of our concern for places of worship needing renovation, particularly areas requiring additional protection to ensure greater comfort for the community,” he said.

In addition to material donations, the painting process involved local residents and workers near the mosques. Mosque officials expressed appreciation for the support, noting it helped improve the condition of buildings used for daily worship activities.

Purwanto, a mosque official at Masjid Al-Ikhlas in Yogyakarta, said the aid made the mosque more comfortable for worshippers.

“We are grateful for the assistance in renovating the mosque. May this place of worship become increasingly comfortable for the community,” he said.

Similarly, officials from Masjid Sabilul Huda highlighted the renovations improved both the appearance and comfort of the mosque for local residents.

Such social initiatives represent collaboration between the business sector and community in maintaining public facilities, particularly places of worship, to ensure they remain suitable and comfortable for collective use.
