APRIL nets $29m in profit

JAKARTA (JP): The APRIL Group (Asia Pacific Resources
International Holdings Ltd.) announced US$29 million in net
profits for the quarter ended Sept. 30 on total sales of $147.6
million.

The New York-listed pulp and paper company said in a statement
released from Singapore that APRIL maintained its average selling
price for pulp for the third quarter at $669 per ton.

The group sold 133,758 metric tons of pulp in the third
quarter, the statement added.
