April 2026 Social Assistance Disbursement Begins: Check the List of Recipients Removed in Your Region
The disbursement of social assistance (bansos) under the PKH and BPNT programmes for April 2026 has officially begun. However, at the same time, thousands of recipients have been removed from the lists. Therefore, the public is advised to immediately check their respective social assistance status, including verifying whether their names are still registered or have been deleted from the latest system. So, what is the reason for PKH and BPNT social assistance recipients being removed from the lists? “Now, every 10th of the month, we receive the results of data updates, and that serves as the guideline for the monthly disbursement of social assistance. So for this second quarter (disbursement) it starts in the second week of April,” said Gus Ipul on Wednesday (1/4/2026). This acceleration is carried out because the National Single Socio-Economic Data System (DTSEN) is now updated routinely every month. “We have already cleaned up the community members who previously received social assistance; we have reviewed that they are people who should not receive social assistance or have been removed, around 11,014 people,” stated the Head of BPS, Amalia Adininggar. This removal occurred due to inclusion errors, namely recipients who actually no longer meet the criteria. “Earlier, there were around 1,511 families who are in deciles five to ten. This is already part of the inclusion error in that 11,014,” explained Amalia.
