Approved! Friderica Becomes OJK Chair for 2026-2031 Period

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — The Members of the Board of Commissioners (ADK) of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) took their oaths of office at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia (MA) today, Wednesday (25/3/2026). The ceremony was led by MA Chief Justice Sunarto.

The Chief Justice began by reading out Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia No. 30/P of 2026, dated 17 March 2026. The appointment of these seven OJK ADK members is stipulated in Article II of the Presidential Decree, effective from the time of the oath or promise of membership in the OJK Board of Commissioners.

“You have been appointed as Chair, Deputy Chair, and Members of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority. Before assuming the positions of Chair, Deputy Chair, and Members of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority, you are required to take the oath,” said Sunarto during the Oath-Taking Ceremony for OJK ADK at the Supreme Court.

The new ADK members then recited their oaths according to their respective religions. The seven OJK ADK members who took the oath today are:

• Chair of the OJK Board of Commissioners Friderica Widyasari Dewi

• Deputy Chair of the OJK Board of Commissioners Hernawan Bekti Sasongko

• Executive Head of Supervision for Capital Markets, Derivative Finance, and Carbon Exchange OJK Hasan Fawzi

• Executive Head of Supervision for Business Conduct in Financial Services, Education, and Consumer Protection OJK Dicky Kartikoyono

• Executive Head of Supervision for Financial Sector Technology Innovation, Digital Financial Assets, and Crypto Assets Adi Budiarso

• Ex-Officio Member of the OJK Board of Commissioners from the Ministry of Finance Juda Agung

• Ex-Officio Member of the OJK Board of Commissioners from Bank Indonesia Thomas AM Djiwandono
