Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN), Zulkifli Hasan, has expressed appreciation for the meeting between the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, and the Chairman of PDI Perjuangan, Megawati Soekarnoputri, at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Thursday (19/3/2026). The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere for more than two hours, discussing various strategic national issues, including the global geopolitical challenges currently facing Indonesia. According to Zulkifli Hasan, this meeting reflects the strong commitment of President Prabowo in nurturing national unity and building inclusive and constructive communication across political forces. “Amid increasingly complex global uncertainties, President Prabowo’s steps to continue embracing all parties are commendable. This shows leadership that prioritises unity and mutual cooperation for the nation’s interests,” Zulkifli Hasan stated in his press release on Friday (20/3/2026).
