Jakarta – Dudung Abdurachman was officially sworn in by President Prabowo Subianto as the Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) at the State Palace in Central Jakarta on Monday afternoon, 27 April 2026. Prior to his appointment as KSP Head, Dudung was known to hold the position of President’s Special Advisor on National Defence. Regarding his role as special advisor to the President, Dudung admitted that he is still holding the position concurrently. “Still concurrent,” Dudung told reporters at the State Palace. Nevertheless, Dudung believes that President Prabowo will soon appoint someone to replace him in the presidential advisor position. “But there will definitely be a replacement soon,” he stated. Previously reported, President Prabowo Subianto appointed the presidential special advisor on national defence, Dudung Abdurachman, as Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), replacing M Qodari, at the State Palace in Central Jakarta on Monday, 27 April 2026. Meanwhile, Qodari has been shifted from the KSP Head position to Head of the Communication Agency (Bakom). The swearing-in ceremony began with the singing of Indonesia Raya. It was then followed by the reading of the Presidential Decree on the appointment of the officials being sworn in. Afterwards, President Prabowo led the oath of office, which was followed by Qodari and Dudung Abdurachman. “I swear by God that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all laws and regulations as straightforwardly as possible in service to the nation and state. That in carrying out my duties, I will uphold the ethics of the position, work to the best of my ability, with full responsibility,” said Prabowo.
