Apple reportedly set to launch budget-friendly MacBook Neo

Jakarta (ANTARA) — Leaked internal Apple documents reveal a more affordable MacBook named Neo and its features. According to a MacRumors report on Tuesday 3 March, the MacBook Neo will have two USB-C ports and a MagSafe charging port. In recent generations, Apple has again adopted the MagSafe magnetic charging connector, and for the Neo model the cable is reportedly colour-matched to the device’s chassis. The Neo is rumoured to come in bright colours such as pink, blue, and yellow. Rumours also suggest the Neo could use a 12.9-inch display and an A-series chip, such as the A18 Pro or A19 Pro used in iPhone models. In terms of connectivity, the Neo is said to support Wi-Fi 7, offering faster speeds and greater network efficiency. The device is reportedly not using Apple’s N1 networking chip, but relies on MediaTek-made chips for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
