Apple considering iPhone Duo with a larger-screen version
Jakarta (ANTARA) – Apple is reportedly considering developing a future-generation iPhone Duo with a larger-screen version.
The report emerged in the latest episode of Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman’s Power On podcast, as reported by MacRumors on Thursday (22 October), local time.
In his report, Gurman said he had “heard” that Apple was “considering” a future iPhone Duo with an inner display that is “roughly half an inch” larger than that of the current model.
The first-generation iPhone Duo, which is approaching its initial sales launch, currently has a 7.6-inch display when unfolded and a 5.4-inch display when folded.
He said the larger size would not be a separate model, so Apple fans should not expect a new device that might be called the iPhone Duo Max.
Apple is preparing to put the current iPhone Duo on sale widely and simultaneously on 23 October 2026.
In Indonesia, the iPhone Duo is already available to pre-order through the online channels of official distributors, including iBox, Erajaya, Digimap and Hello Store, which is part of the Blibli e-commerce platform.
The phone is available with storage capacities ranging from 256GB to 2TB, the highest option. It comes in two colours: Star White and Night Sky.
In Indonesia, prices start at Rp45,678,910 for the 256GB model and reach Rp75,999,000 for the 2TB version.
