Apple Business Launches in Indonesia, Set to Challenge Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
Apple has officially introduced the Apple Business service in Indonesia as part of its global launch in more than 200 countries and regions. In an official statement, Apple Business is available for free and can be used globally, including in Indonesia, starting from 14 April 2026. This platform is designed as an all-in-one solution to help business operators manage devices, employees, and business communications within a single integrated ecosystem, similar to services like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Apple Business represents Apple’s latest step to expand its reach in the business segment, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that require practical solutions for daily operations. At its core, Apple Business is a platform that allows business owners to manage all their digital operational needs from one place. Additionally, business operators can create business emails with their own domain names, set up team calendars, and store employee contact lists within an integrated system. This way, communication and work coordination can be carried out more neatly and professionally. “Apple Business is a major leap in our commitment to helping companies of all sizes leverage the reliability of Apple’s products and services,” said Susan Prescott, Vice President of Education and Enterprise Marketing at Apple. She added that the platform combines various Apple business services into a secure and user-friendly system, while also opening new ways for companies to reach customers. In practice, Apple Business also simplifies the process for companies when setting up new devices. Through a feature called Blueprints, devices can be ready for use immediately with pre-determined applications and settings, without the need for manual configuration one by one. Apple Business also provides dedicated employee accounts that separate work data from personal data, making it more secure. The system can connect with services like Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra ID for more flexible account management. On the other hand, business operators can also manage their business profiles within the Apple ecosystem, such as Apple Maps and Mail. Information like store locations, operating hours, and promotions can be displayed directly to customers. They can also display their business locations on Apple Maps, update operating hours, and promote the latest menus to customers.
