Appearance of the Boarding House Where Taufik Hidayat Held Woman Captive for 3 Years

Taufik Hidayat (30) allegedly assaulted and imprisoned his partner, YTR (29), in a boarding house located in Cinunuk Village, Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency. This is the appearance of the boarding house.

According to reports from the scene on Tuesday (23/06/2026), the boarding house is hidden within an alley, approximately 50 metres from the main road. The two-storey building directly borders rice fields and residential areas.

The room that served as the silent witness to the victim’s suffering is located on the ground floor, right in front of the gate. The room is currently tightly closed and locked.

The case was first detected by local residents who had grown suspicious. Residents claimed to frequently hear loud banging sounds coming from behind the walls of the boarding house.

Mulyati, the wife of the boarding house caretaker, revealed that the victim was almost never seen leaving her room. All activities outside the house were carried out solely by Taufik Hidayat.

“The perpetrator often went out of the boarding house to buy rice, but whenever he left for even a short time, he would always lock the door. He was afraid of people or had a feeling that someone might enter the boarding house,” Mulyati said when met at the scene.
