JAKARTA — The MMT Padel sports facility located on Jalan Puri Ayu, South Kembangan, West Jakarta, was officially sealed by the West Jakarta City Administration on Monday, 2 March 2026.

Remarkably, this imposing building, which was seized for lacking the necessary permit, stands directly across from the West Jakarta Mayor’s Office.

According to Kompas.com’s observations at the site on Monday afternoon, the MMT Padel area appeared quiet with no construction or operational activity. The curved white-roofed building is now surrounded by sealing notices from the Sub-Office of Public Works, Spatial Planning, and Land Affairs (CKTRP).

“This building is subject to permanent suspension (sealed),” read the banner.

A circular logo on the upper part of the building’s façade has been covered with orange cloth. A name sign on the lower wall area has also been tightly wrapped with black cloth.

Despite the covered signage, the venue’s identity remains visible from two towering promotional banners displaying MMT Padel facilities, including seven signature courts, three grand courts, a premium lounge, and a juice bar.

The basement area and parking lot of MMT Padel, which includes a public electric vehicle charging station (SPKLU), contained several parked vehicles. Meanwhile, the spiral staircase, which serves as one of the access points to the courts on the second floor, has been closed off with tape marked “CKTRP Line”.

However, according to a witness, the facility had been operating and serving customers since the beginning of the year. “It’s not finished yet; there’s still construction underneath. But the courts seem to be done—plenty of people have been playing there, around one or two months now,” said Haryo when met by Kompas.com at the location on Monday.
