Appearance of DPR Member Gus Hilman's Vehicle Severely Damaged Following Paspro Toll Accident

Based on photographs received, as reported by detikJatim on Sunday (24 May 2026), the Toyota Innova carrying Gus Hilman sustained severe damage to its front section, with the majority of the front crushed and rendered almost unrecognisable.

The accident occurred on Saturday (23 May) at approximately 15:14 Western Indonesian Time. The incident involved a Toyota Innova and a dump truck.

“Regarding the sequence of events, the Innova was travelling from east to west. The driver’s lack of concentration or suspected drowsiness led him to collide with the dump truck ahead,” stated Aipda Taufik, head of traffic law enforcement at Probolinggo City Police.

The Toyota Innova carried four occupants, including Gus Hilman and two of his staff members named Alex Anwaruh and Adinda Najwa. The vehicle was driven by a driver named Mahrus Ali.

Two of Gus Hilman’s staff members died as a result of the accident at the scene. Whilst Gus Hilman and the driver survived, both required intensive care hospitalisation.
