Apjatel and Government Synergise to Improve Telecommunications Quality
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Telecommunications Network Providers Association (Apjatal) continues to synergise with the Ministry of Communication and Digital to improve the quality and reach of telecommunications and digital services.
“This also serves as an enabler; we are moving together with Komdigi in telecommunications sector services, both in terms of resilience, sovereignty, and digital transformation, which serves as a barometer for acceleration—how we connect person to person, island to island, and sector to sector,” said the General Chairman of Apjatel, Jerry Mangasas Shandy, while attending a series of events for the 81st Postel Service Day in Jakarta on Sunday.
He viewed the event as a momentum to strengthen collaboration among all stakeholders in providing increasingly robust and equitable digital infrastructure.
“This activity also takes place within the atmosphere of Independence Day, so the hope is to foster the spirit in all of us to continue contributing to the realisation of a more advanced Indonesia,” added Kusumawardhana.
The Executive Chairman of the 81st Postel Service Day 2026, Theodorus Ardi Hartoko, stated that the spirit of togetherness in commemorating the 81st Postel Service Day remains maintained, serving as a momentum to remember the struggles of postal, telecommunications, and informatics personnel for Indonesia’s communication sovereignty.
“This is the second activity in the series of commemorations for the 81st Postel Service Day, following our previous DTI-CX event. There will still be several more activities, such as e-sports, blood donations, mini-soccer, and the peak ceremony for Postel Service Day in Bandung,” said the man affectionately known as Teddy.
Through these activities, Apjatel hopes that the spirit of togetherness during the Postel Service Day can continue to strengthen the synergy between the government, industry, and all stakeholders in building an increasingly advanced Indonesian digital ecosystem.
