PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (API/InJourney Airports) forecasts approximately three million passenger movements across its 37 airports during the extended holiday period for Eid al-Adha and Pancasila Day, from 26 May to 2 June 2026.

“Passenger numbers are projected to peak on 26 May with around 412,000 travellers and 3,000 flights, and on 1 June 2026 with approximately 423,000 passengers and 3,000 flights,” said InJourney Airports President Director Mohammad R. Pahlevi.

He explained that the projected three million passengers occur during the Eid al-Adha holiday on 27-28 May 2026, which coincides with the weekend of 30-31 May and the national holiday for Pancasila Day on 1 June.

All airports have prepared measures to ensure safety, security, and service quality during the extended holiday period.

Pahlevi stated that airports have adjusted slot times for take-offs and landings to ensure smooth flight operations.

“The allocation of aircraft parking on the airside is also a priority for airports, contributing to the smooth flow of passenger arrivals and departures. Additionally, all airport staff will provide dedicated service to passengers and airport users,” he added.

InJourney Airports currently manages 37 airports across Indonesia, including the five busiest: Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali, Juanda Airport in Surabaya, Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar, and Kualanamu Airport in Deli Serdang.
