Apathetic security guard

Apathetic security guard

From Business Indonesia

My eight-year-old nephew became separated from his parents when they were shopping at the Karawaci Lippo Supermall in Tangerang, at 8 p.m. on July 14. The child and his parents looked for each other for 30 minutes.

Losing hope, my nephew tried to ask a security guard to help him find his parents by making an announcement over a loudspeaker. But the security guard refused to do so, and brought the child out to the parking lot to wait for his parents, though the young boy was crying as it was his first visit to the mall.

I hope the management of Lippo Supermall will instruct their security guards on how to properly serve visitors.
