Apacer unveils Edge AI storage solutions at COMPUTEX 2026
Taipei - After Edge AI transitions from concept testing to real-world implementation, the demand for high bandwidth, thermal efficiency, and stable computing performance has driven the need for reliable industrial-grade data storage solutions. As a global digital storage solutions provider, Apacer Technology is showcasing its latest innovations at COMPUTEX 2026 under the theme ‘Storage, Empowering AI Growth’, featuring integrated Edge AI solutions including industrial SSDs, cooling technologies, high-performance memory, smart data storage solutions, and Edge AI computing applications.
Collaborating with AAEON, Altob, DEEPX, and Posiflex, Apacer is demonstrating Edge AI applications across sectors such as smart factories, smart retail, and smart transportation. A key highlight is the ‘ViClaw Edge AI + Storage System’, developed with DEEPX, which combines SSD architecture with NPU acceleration to deliver up to 50 TOPS of AI computing performance for edge servers and AI devices, enhancing local Edge AI inference capabilities.
To address temperature challenges in high-density Edge AI environments, Apacer introduced new cooling technologies including GraTherX for fanless devices, CoreGlacier 2 with dual-fin design, and Thermal-Ink cooling optimised for ultra-thin systems. GraTherX reportedly reduces DDR5 module temperatures by up to 20 degrees Celsius and increases MTBF by 2.7 times, supporting long-term operational stability of Edge AI systems.
Additionally, Apacer launched its new BiCS8 PCIe Gen5 SSD series with up to 32TB capacity and sequential read/write speeds of 14,000/8,500 MB per second, meeting AI computing, data centre, and edge server demands. The company also introduced CAMM2 memory solutions with high bandwidth to support next-generation Edge AI workloads.
For gaming needs, Apacer unveiled the ZADAK PRO ROG CERTIFIED RGB DDR5 memory, developed in collaboration with ASUS Republic of Gamers. This AMD platform memory offers DDR5-6000 CL28 low latency specifications to deliver more stable and immersive gaming performance.
