AP2LI Highlights Direct Selling Industry Integrity; QNET Among Award Recipients
Strengthening integrity and professionalism was the main focus of the Helmy Attamimi Award 2026, held by the Indonesian Direct Selling Company Association (AP2LI). This biennial event serves as a platform to appreciate companies that consistently maintain ethical standards and good governance in the direct selling industry.
AP2LI Chairman General Andrew Susanto stated that the award is not merely a ceremony, but part of efforts to build a healthy and sustainable direct selling ecosystem. “We want to foster healthy competition among industry players. With integrity and adherence to ethical codes, the direct selling industry will continue to grow and gain public trust,” said Andrew in a press statement received by Kompas.com on Friday (27 February 2026).
The Director General of Domestic Trade at the Ministry of Trade, Iqbal Shoffan Shofwan, emphasised that the direct selling sector is an industry with minimal regulation in many countries, but Indonesia applies strict rules. These regulations are intended to ensure business practices comply with provisions and contribute to the national economy.
“To all AP2LI members who consistently champion and implement direct selling ethics throughout Indonesia, we extend our appreciation and gratitude,” he said.
He also highlighted the importance of encouraging more Indonesian-based direct selling companies and locally produced products marketed through this scheme.
At this year’s event, QNET became one of the companies to receive recognition. The direct selling company operating in the lifestyle and health products sector received four company category nominations: CSR Excellence, Head Office Design, Product Packaging Design, and Most Innovative Product.
QNET’s leader stated the award serves as encouragement to continue strengthening governance and the industry’s contribution. “We are very grateful and proud to be selected as CEO of the Year at the Helmy Attamimi Award 2026. Hopefully this will motivate us to continue improving the direct selling ecosystem. QNET has been driving Indonesia’s economy for 28 years through the multi-level marketing industry. Although QNET is a global company, we remain concerned with Indonesian-origin products,” he said.
He noted that the company markets several products manufactured in Indonesia, such as QBerry and QMEn’s Series.
The Helmy Attamimi name was adopted as a symbol of exemplary conduct in this industry. This figure is known for promoting recognition and legal certainty for direct selling businesses in Indonesia. Consistent award ceremonies since 2020 reflect shared commitment to maintaining the industry’s dignity.
