Anticipating Hantavirus, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Tightens Passenger Monitoring

PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (AP I) Branch at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, in collaboration with the Soekarno-Hatta Health Quarantine Centre (Balai Besar Kekarantinaan Kesehatan Soekarno Hatta), has installed thermal cameras to monitor passengers’ body temperatures as they arrive at the airport, as part of an anticipatory and monitoring measure against the spread and transmission of the Hanta virus, particularly for travellers from the United States, Argentina, Uruguay, and Panama.
