Jakarta (ANTARA) — Indonesia’s Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned Akhmad Musyafak, Secretary of the Directorate General of Food Crops at the Agriculture Ministry, as a witness in a case involving alleged corruption in the procurement of rubber processing facilities at the Agriculture Ministry during the 2021–2023 budget years.

“The examination took place at the KPK’s Red and White Building on behalf of AM,” KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told journalists in Jakarta on Monday.

Budi explained that Akhmad Musyafak was summoned in his capacity as Head of the General Affairs and Procurement Bureau of the Agriculture Ministry during 2021–2022.

Budi stated that the KPK also summoned another witness, identified as the Head of the Procurement Services Division at the Agriculture Ministry, with initials LJN. Based on available information, this witness is Lintong Janji Natogu Sinambela.

Previously, on 29 November 2024, the KPK announced the commencement of an investigation into the alleged corruption case involving the procurement of rubber processing facilities at the Agriculture Ministry during the 2021–2023 budget years. The KPK explained that the suspected modus operandi in the corruption case involved price inflation.

On 2 December 2024, the KPK announced that investigators had named a suspect in the alleged corruption case concerning the Agriculture Ministry’s rubber processing facilities. The suspect, named on 21 October 2025, is a civil servant named Yudi Wahyudi (YW).

Currently, the KPK is investigating the connection between this case and allegations of money laundering by the suspect and former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo.
