Anthoni Salim's Business Empire: 12 Listed Companies, Assets Worth Rp 189 Trillion
The business tentacles of conglomerate Anthonini Salim continue to expand widely. According to a mapping by Pluang, at least 12 listed companies have ownership links to Anthoni Salim or the Salim Group, ranging from the consumer giant PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) to PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) and PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (DCII).
The scale of this business network is in line with Anthoni Salim’s wealth. Based on Forbes’ Real Time Billionaires List accessed on Saturday (3/10/2026), Anthoni Salim’s net worth has reached US$ 10.6 billion, or approximately Rp 189.6 trillion.
Robert Budi Hartono holds the second position with a wealth of US$ 15.1 billion, or about Rp 270.1 trillion. Meanwhile, Prajogo Pangestu ranks third with a wealth of US$ 14.7 billion, or approximately Rp 262.9 trillion.
Pluang has mapped the network of listed companies related to Anthoni Salim into two large groups. The first group consists of core businesses in the food and agribusiness sectors, while the second group includes Salim’s more diversified investments outside of those sectors.
The Salim Group is a conglomerate pioneered by Liem Sioe Liong in the 1970s and is currently controlled by his son, Anthoni Salim. Its core businesses rely on the food, agribusiness, and retail sectors, with INDF serving as one of the group’s primary listed companies.
According to Pluang, the core business group includes INDF, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP), PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk (SIMP), PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk (LSIP), PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional Tbk (IMAS), and PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI).
The ownership structure within this group is interconnected. ICBP, for instance, is approximately 80% controlled by INDF, meaning the two companies cannot be viewed as entirely independent investment diversifications.
The control of INDF itself involves a multi-layered structure through First Pacific Company Limited, an investment company listed in Hong Kong. Anthoni Salim serves as the chairman of First Pacific.
The network also extends to BUMI, DCII, and AMMN.
