ANTARA Supervisory Board Applauds West Java Bureau's Media Monitoring Business Innovation

Bandung (ANTARA) - The Chair of the Supervisory Board (Dewas) of LKBN ANTARA, Akhmad Munir, has commended the performance of the ANTARA West Java Bureau, which is regarded as having delivered a breakthrough in the company’s business development through the monetisation of media monitoring.

Munir assessed that this business development innovation could serve as an example for other ANTARA bureaux throughout Indonesia.

“We appreciate the performance of the West Java Bureau, which is generally running well, both in the editorial and commercial fields. In particular, there is a breakthrough that we believe needs to be developed and could become a role model for colleagues in other regional bureaux,” Munir said in Bandung on Friday.

According to him, the West Java Bureau’s success in developing media monitoring monetisation is a positive step in strengthening the company’s business development.

“The success of colleagues at the West Java Bureau in developing the business through media monitoring monetisation is a good business development breakthrough that can continue to be developed and used as a model for ANTARA’s development in the regions,” he said.

He explained that the ANTARA Supervisory Board’s visits to various bureaux are a routine agenda for evaluating and monitoring the company’s performance in the regions.

Munir also conveyed a message to ANTARA journalists at the West Java Bureau to continue maintaining journalistic quality, given that West Java is a strategic region with high dynamics across various sectors.

“West Java is one of the most potential and strategic regions for news coverage, whether relating to government, politics, security, or tourism,” he said.

He encouraged ANTARA journalists in West Java to maintain their militancy and remain consistent in producing quality journalistic work, whether in text, photographs, or video.

According to him, ANTARA’s reporting must be able to deliver benefits to the wider public through informative, educational content that promotes empowerment and provides enlightenment to the public, particularly in West Java.

“So it needs to be well managed, especially in terms of how to ensure that this reporting work brings benefits to the wider public, providing education, empowerment, and enlightenment,” he said.
