Tangerang (ANTARA) - The Antara National News Agency (ANTARA) states its readiness to support promotion of outstanding MSMEs in the City of South Tangerang up to national and international levels through its networks. Benny Siga Butarbutar, Chief Executive of Antara News Agency, in Tangerang on Thursday said ANTARA has a wide network across 34 provinces in Indonesia that can function as a network agent in disseminating information and success stories of local MSME actors. ‘We have networks in 34 regions. This could become a network agent to promote regional potentials, including outstanding MSMEs from South Tangerang,’ Benny said at the reses meeting of Commission VII of the Indonesian House of Representatives at the Puspemkot South Tangerang on Thursday. He added that success stories of MSMEs are important to publish so they can inspire businesspeople in other regions. ‘MSME success stories can be an inspiration for other regions. When one region succeeds, other regions can learn and be motivated to grow,’ he said. Beny emphasised that as a state news agency, ANTARA not only plays a role in disseminating information domestically, but also has a news distribution network up to overseas. Therefore, they are ready to help promote Tangsel’s standout products to become more widely known, including opening international market opportunities. The support is expected to strengthen synergy between the central government, regional governments, and institutions and partners of Commission VII of the DPR RI in promoting local economic growth based on MSMEs and the creative economy. ‘We are ready to help promote MSMEs from Tangsel, even overseas because we have the network,’ he said. Chairman of Commission VII of the DPR RI, Saleh Partaonan Daulay added that today’s visit was to discuss various matters related to the partners working in South Tangerang City. He wanted to ensure that the presence of Commission VII can be felt by local governments and the public, especially in South Tangerang City. ‘If there are programs or collaborations that can be co-developed with Commission VII’s partners at the ministry or agency level, we are ready to facilitate,’ he said.
