The LKBN ANTARA Bali Bureau and the Badung Regency administration are strengthening synergy in the dissemination of regional development information following a meeting held in Badung, Bali, on Friday. Head of the Protocol and Leadership Communication Division (Kabag Prokopim) of the Badung Regional Secretariat, I Kadek Edi Putrana, received the Head of the ANTARA Bali Bureau, Ardi Irawan, and expressed appreciation for ANTARA’s active role in disseminating information regarding the Badung Regency Government’s various strategic programmes. According to Edi Putrana, the established cooperation has contributed significantly to conveying policies and development achievements to the public, particularly the flagship programmes under the leadership of Badung Regent I Wayan Adi Arnawa and Deputy Regent Bagus Alit Sucipta.
He explained that the Badung Regency Government is currently prioritising infrastructure development in an effort to alleviate traffic congestion while improving inter-regional connectivity. One of the strategic projects highlighted is the construction of a southern ring road connecting the South Kuta area, Nusa Dua, and other tourism buffer zones. In addition to road construction, the Badung Regency Government is also continuously strengthening its efforts to address waste management issues through various programmes that are beginning to show progress. These measures are being taken to support the creation of a clean environment while safeguarding the region’s image as a world-class tourism destination.
Edi Putrana expressed hope that the synergy between the Badung Regency Government and ANTARA would not only continue in the field of news reporting but could also be developed through other forms of collaboration that support public information services and government communications. He also encouraged the enhancement of the existing collaboration so that information delivery to the public becomes faster, more accurate, balanced, and reaches a wider segment of society.
Meanwhile, Head of the ANTARA Bali Bureau, Ardi Irawan, outlined ANTARA’s position as a state news agency tasked with presenting information that is fast, accurate, balanced, and accountable to the public. Ardi stated that ANTARA remains committed to supporting public information transparency through professional reporting while serving as a strategic partner for the government in conveying various development programmes to the wider community. He noted that ANTARA has a national and international news network, enabling information regarding development in Badung Regency to reach a broader audience, including stakeholders in the tourism and investment sectors.
Through this strengthened synergy, ANTARA and the Badung Regency Government are expected to continue presenting credible information on various regional priority programmes, ranging from road infrastructure development and improved public services to sustainable environmental management. This collaboration is also part of efforts to strengthen public communication so that the community receives comprehensive information regarding the direction of Badung Regency’s development and the local government’s policies in realising quality and sustainable development.
