Antam Precious Metal Gold Prices Surge Today, Breaking Rp2.9 Million Again

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The price of gold produced by PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) Tbk., known as Antam Precious Metal Gold, strengthened in today’s trading on Wednesday (8/4/2026).

According to data from PT Antam’s official website, logammulia.com, at 08:28 WIB, at the LM Graha Dipta Pulo Gadung gold boutique in Jakarta, the price of 1-gram gold bars today is set at Rp2,900,000 per bar, an increase of Rp50,000 compared to the previous trading session.

In line with this, the Antam gold buyback price, or repurchase price, has also risen. Today, the buyback price stands at Rp2,664,000 per gram, up Rp95,000 from the previous trading price.

The rise in Antam gold prices is in line with global gold trends. According to Refinitiv, the gold price closed at US$4,702.50 per troy ounce on Tuesday (7/4/2026). The price surged 1.2%.

This increase breaks the negative trend that had plummeted 2.3% over the two previous days.

Gold prices soared directly today. On Wednesday (8/4/2026) at 06:26 WIB, gold prices surged 2.3% and touched US$4,809.65 per troy ounce. Gold has finally returned to the US$4,800 per troy ounce level for the first time since 18 March 2026.
