The price of gold sold by PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) decreased on Tuesday, trading at Rp 2,601,000 per gram, down Rp 9,000 from the previous day. Prices for various sizes were also adjusted, with 0.5 grams priced at Rp 1,350,000 and the 1,000-gram bar at Rp 2.5416 billion. Meanwhile, international gold prices saw an uptick. Spot gold rose 0.5 percent to US$4,023.56 per ounce, and US gold futures for August delivery increased 0.3 percent to US$4,028 per ounce. The global increase was attributed to investors seeking safe-haven assets following threats from Yemen’s Houthis to impose a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia.
