Antam Gold Price Today, 16 March 2026: Falls to Rp2,992,000 per gram

Antam gold prices on Monday, 16 March 2026, registered a decline. Based on official data from the Logam Mulia website, gold prices fell by Rp5,000 per gram compared with prices at the end of the previous week. Currently, Antam gold prices are at the level of Rp2,992,000 per gram. This decline was also accompanied by a fall in buyback prices, or the price at which investors can sell their gold back to Antam, by the same amount.

The buyback price for Antam gold today stands at Rp2,744,000 per gram, down Rp5,000 from the previous level of Rp2,749,000 per gram.

In accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017, sell price transactions are subject to tax deductions according to applicable regulations. The resale of gold bars to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value exceeding Rp10 million is subject to income tax (PPh 22) of 1.5% (for NPWP holders) and 3% (for non-NPWP holders). PPh 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total buyback value.

One of the main sentiments overshadowing gold prices is the collapse of global crude oil prices by up to 11 per cent to the range of USD 85-87 per barrel. The sharp rise in gold over the past week has been triggered by military escalation in the Middle East involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
