Antam Gold Price Surges Rp40,000 to Rp2.859 Million per Gram on Tuesday Morning

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The price of Antam gold, monitored from the Logam Mulia website in Jakarta, rose by Rp40,000 from Rp2,819,000 to Rp2,859,000 per gram at 09:10 WIB on Tuesday. The buyback price also increased to Rp2,676,000 per gram. Antam gold prices may change at any time. Sales transactions for gold are subject to tax deductions in accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017 for all types of gold from 1 gram to 1,000 grams (1 kilogram). The resale of gold bars to PT Antam Tbk for amounts exceeding Rp10 million is subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 at 1.5 percent for holders of a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders. PPh Article 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total buyback value. Tax deductions on gold purchase prices in accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017 stipulate that purchases of gold bars are subject to PPh Article 22 at 0.45 percent for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders.
