Antam Gold Price Surges by Rp50,000, Buyback Jumps Rp90,000

Jakarta - The price of gold produced by PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) Tbk., known as Antam Logam Mulia, surged in trading today, Thursday (6/8/2026). Citing data from PT Antam’s official website, logammulia.com, at 08:30 WIB, at the LM Graha Dipta Pulo Gadung gold boutique in Jakarta, the price for a 1-gram unit was set at Rp2,679,000 per bar, a jump of Rp50,000 compared to the previous trading session. Today’s increase marks the strongest gain in recent times and brings Antam gold back towards the Rp2.7 million per gram level. The surge also reverses the weakening trend seen in the previous session. In line with this, the buyback price for Antam gold also soared. Today, the buyback price stands at Rp2,490,000 per gram, up Rp90,000 from the previous session. Please note, purchases of Antam gold bars are subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 of 0.25% for holders of a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and 0.5% for non-NPWP holders. Meanwhile, for Antam gold buyback transactions exceeding Rp10 million, PPh Article 22 is applied at 1.5% for NPWP holders and 3% for non-NPWP holders. This tax is deducted directly from the total buyback value.
