Antam Gold Price Surges by Rp40,000 to Rp3.087 Million per Gramme on Wednesday
Jakarta — PT Antam’s gold price, as monitored on the Precious Metals portal in Jakarta on Wednesday at 09:20 Western Indonesian Time, surged by Rp40,000 from the previous Rp3.047 million to Rp3.087 million per gramme.
Similarly, Antam’s buyback price for gold has increased to Rp2.847 million per gramme.
Antam gold prices are subject to change at any time. Sales transactions are subject to tax deductions in accordance with Finance Ministry Regulation Number 34/PMK.10/2017 for all types of gold, ranging from 1 gramme to 1,000 grammes (1 kilogramme).
The resale of gold bars to PT Antam with a nominal value exceeding Rp10 million is subject to Article 22 Income Tax at 1.5 per cent for taxpayers with a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and 3 per cent for non-NPWP holders. This Article 22 tax on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total buyback value.

Tax deductions on gold purchase prices are in accordance with Finance Ministry Regulation Number 34/PMK.10/2017. Gold bar purchases are subject to Article 22 Income Tax at 0.45 per cent for NPWP holders and 0.9 per cent for non-NPWP holders. Each gold bar purchase is accompanied by proof of Article 22 tax deduction.
