Antam gold price rises to Rp2.67 million per gram on Sunday

The price of Antam gold, as monitored on the Logam Mulia website in Jakarta on Sunday at 10.00 WIB, rose to Rp2,670,000 per gram, having previously been at Rp2,651,000 per gram. However, the buyback price for Antam gold remained stagnant at Rp2,429,000 per gram. The price of Antam gold bullion can change at any time. Sales transactions are subject to tax deductions in accordance with Finance Minister Regulation No. 34/PMK.10/2017 for all types of gold, from 1 gram to 1,000 grams (1 kilogram). Reselling gold bullion to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value exceeding Rp10 million incurs Income Tax Article 22 of 1.5 percent for holders of a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders. The PPh 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total buyback value. The latest prices for gold bullion denominations recorded on the Logam Mulia Antam website are as follows: 0.5 gram: Rp1,385,500; 1 gram: Rp2,670,000; 2 grams: Rp5,280,000; 3 grams: Rp7,895,000; 5 grams: Rp13,125,000; 10 grams: Rp26,195,000; 25 grams: Rp65,362,000; 50 grams: Rp130,645,000; 100 grams: Rp261,212,000; 250 grams: Rp652,765,000; 500 grams: Rp1,305,320,000; and 1,000 grams: Rp2,610,600,000. In accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017, purchases of gold bullion are subject to PPh 22 of 0.45 percent for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders. Every purchase of gold bullion is accompanied by a PPh 22 withholding receipt.
