Antam Gold Price Rises Rp 50,000 in a Week, Buyback Surges

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The price of Antam gold has moved fluctuatively over the past week, with a general tendency to strengthen compared to the beginning of the week.

According to the official Logam Mulia website, on Monday (30/3/2026), the Antam gold price fell by Rp 30,000 per gram from Rp 2,837,000 to Rp 2,807,000. The Antam gold buyback price also weakened by Rp 36,000 to Rp 2,425,000 per gram.

The pressure continued on Tuesday (31/3/2026). The Antam gold price dropped by Rp 10,000 per gram to Rp 2,827,000, while the buyback price fell by Rp 11,000 to Rp 2,477,000 per gram.

The strengthening continued on Thursday (2/4/2026). The Antam gold price rose by Rp 20,000 per gram to Rp 2,922,000, while the buyback price strengthened by Rp 50,000 to Rp 2,637,000 per gram.

However, the price came under pressure again on Friday (3/4/2026). The Antam gold price plummeted by Rp 65,000 per gram to Rp 2,857,000. The buyback price also dropped by Rp 60,000 to Rp 2,577,000 per gram.

The gold price tended to stagnate on Saturday (4/4/2026). The Antam gold price remained at Rp 2,857,000 per gram, while the buyback price also held steady at Rp 2,577,000 per gram.

Meanwhile, the Antam gold buyback price rose by Rp 152,000 per gram over the same period, from Rp 2,425,000 to Rp 2,577,000 per gram.

Buyback is the price received by gold owners when selling back Antam gold to Logam Mulia.

In accordance with regulations, the purchase of gold bars is subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 at 0.9 per cent. Buyers who provide their Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) receive a lower rate of 0.25 per cent. Every purchase is accompanied by a PPh 22 withholding receipt.

For buyback transactions valued over Rp 10 million, PPh 22 is imposed at 1.5 per cent for NPWP holders and 3 per cent for non-NPWP holders, deducted directly from the buyback value.
