Antam Gold Price Rises Rp 44,000 per Gram Over the Week

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The price of Antam gold moved fluctuatively over the past week, with a tendency to strengthen in the mid-week. According to the official Logam Mulia website, on Monday (4/5/2026), the price of 1-gram Antam gold stood at Rp 2,795,000, down Rp 1,000 from the previous trading session. The Antam gold buyback price also weakened to Rp 2,585,000 per gram, or down Rp 1,000. Entering Tuesday (5/5/2026), the price of bullion gold at Logam Mulia corrected sharply once again. The Antam gold price fell Rp 35,000 per gram from Rp 2,795,000 to Rp 2,760,000 per gram. On Wednesday (6/5/2026), the price movement reversed direction. The Antam gold price rose Rp 30,000 per gram to Rp 2,790,000 from the previous Rp 2,760,000 per gram. The buyback price also strengthened by Rp 35,000 per gram to Rp 2,580,000 per gram. On Thursday (7/5/2026), the gold price continued its strengthening. The Antam gold price rose Rp 17,000 per gram from Rp 2,823,000 to Rp 2,840,000 per gram. Meanwhile, the buyback price also rose Rp 20,000 per gram from Rp 2,625,000 to Rp 2,645,000 per gram. However, on Friday (8/5/2026), the gold price corrected slightly. The Antam gold price fell Rp 1,000 per gram from Rp 2,840,000 to Rp 2,839,000 per gram. The buyback price also fell Rp 1,000 per gram from Rp 2,645,000 to Rp 2,644,000 per gram. Thus, the Antam gold price over this week was recorded to have risen Rp 44,000 per gram, from Rp 2,795,000 on Monday (4/5/2026) to Rp 2,839,000 on Saturday (9/5/2026). Meanwhile, the Antam gold buyback price also experienced an increase of Rp 59,000 per gram, from Rp 2,585,000 to Rp 2,644,000 per gram over the same period. Buyback refers to the price received by gold owners when reselling Antam gold to Logam Mulia.
