Antam Gold Price Rises Rp 29,000 in a Week, Buyback Strengthens
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The price of Antam gold over the past week moved fluctuatively with a tendency to strengthen compared to the beginning of the week. According to the official Logam Mulia website, on Monday (6/4/2026), the Antam gold price fell by Rp 26,000 per gram, from Rp 2,857,000 to Rp 2,831,000. The Antam gold buyback price also weakened by Rp 27,000 to Rp 2,550,000 per gram. The decline in gold prices was short-lived. On Tuesday (7/4/2026), the Antam gold price rebounded by Rp 19,000 to Rp 2,850,000 per gram, followed by a Rp 19,000 increase in the buyback price to Rp 2,569,000 per gram. However, this strengthening did not last long. On Thursday (9/4/2026), the Antam gold price fell again by Rp 50,000 to Rp 2,850,000 per gram. The buyback price also corrected by Rp 59,000 to Rp 2,605,000 per gram. Entering the end of the week, gold prices strengthened again. On Friday (10/4/2026), the Antam gold price rose by Rp 7,000 to Rp 2,857,000 per gram, while the buyback price increased by Rp 14,000 to Rp 2,619,000 per gram. The strengthening continued on Saturday (11/4/2026). The Antam gold price rose by Rp 3,000 to Rp 2,860,000 per gram, while the buyback price strengthened by Rp 8,000 to Rp 2,627,000 per gram. Meanwhile, the Antam gold buyback price increased by Rp 77,000 per gram over the same period, from Rp 2,550,000 to Rp 2,627,000 per gram. Buyback is the price received by gold owners when selling back Antam gold to Logam Mulia. According to regulations, purchases of gold bars are subject to Article 22 Income Tax (PPh) of 0.9%. Buyers who provide a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) receive a lower rate of 0.25%. Every purchase is accompanied by a PPh 22 withholding voucher. For buyback transactions valued over Rp 10 million, PPh 22 is imposed at 1.5% for NPWP holders and 3% for non-NPWP holders, deducted directly from the buyback value.
