Antam Gold Price Rises by Rp 20,000, Reaching Rp 2.71 Million per Gram
The price of gold produced by state miner Aneka Tambang (Antam) rose by Rp 20,000 to Rp 2.71 million per gram on Tuesday, according to the Precious Metals (Logam Mulia) website. The buyback price also increased to Rp 2.546 million per gram. However, the price of Antam gold bullion is subject to change at any time. Buyback transactions exceeding Rp 10 million are subject to a 1.5 per cent Income Tax (PPh) Article 22, which is deducted directly from the total transaction value. Meanwhile, gold purchases are subject to a 0.25 per cent tax on the base price listed on the official website. The complete list of base prices is as follows: 0.5 gram at Rp 1,405,000; 1 gram at Rp 2,710,000; 2 grams at Rp 5,360,000; 3 grams at Rp 8,015,000; 5 grams at Rp 13,325,000; 10 grams at Rp 26,595,000; 25 grams at Rp 66,362,000; 50 grams at Rp 132,645,000; 100 grams at Rp 265,212,000; 250 grams at Rp 662,765,000; 500 grams at Rp 1,325,320,000; and 1,000 grams at Rp 2,650,600,000.
