Antam Gold Price Plunges to Rp2.6 Million, Lowest in Five Months
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The price of gold bullion produced by PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. (Antam) plunged in trading today, Thursday (11/6/2026).
Citing the Logam Mulia website, the price of 1 gram of Antam gold was set at Rp2,689,000 per bar, down Rp24,000 from the previous position of Rp2,713,000 per gram.
This decline pushed the price of Antam gold down to the Rp2.6 million per gram level for the first time since 16 January 2026, or five months.
A decline also occurred in the buyback price, which is the price received if a holder wishes to sell their precious metal back to Antam. Today, the buyback price stands at Rp2,395,000 per gram, down by Rp92,000.
The price of Antam’s Logam Mulia gold follows global gold prices. Gold trading on Wednesday (10/6/2026) closed at US$4,073.46 per troy ounce, dropping 4.43%. This price is the lowest since November 2025, or the last seven months.
The gold price has slumped for four consecutive days, weakening by 8.95%.
As a note, purchases of Antam gold bullion are subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 of 0.25% for holders of a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and 0.5% for non-NPWP holders.
Meanwhile, for Antam gold buyback transactions with a value exceeding Rp10 million, PPh Article 22 of 1.5% is applied for NPWP holders and 3% for non-NPWP holders, deducted directly from the total buyback value.
