Antam Gold Price Plunges Rp30,000 to Rp2.68 Million

The price of gold bullion from PT Aneka Tambang (Antam), as monitored on the official Logam Mulia website, recorded a significant decline on Wednesday (12/8) morning. At 09.29 WIB, the price of Antam gold was corrected by Rp30,000 per gram to a level of Rp2,680,000, down from the previous position of Rp2,710,000 per gram. The selling price (buyback) of Antam gold also fell to Rp2,516,000 per gram. However, the management has cautioned that the price movement of Antam gold bullion can change at any time following market dynamics. In accordance with applicable regulations, every buyback transaction with a value above Rp10,000,000 is subject to Article 22 Income Tax (PPh) of 1.5%. This PPh 22 deduction will be directly allocated from the total transaction value during the buyback process. Meanwhile, for gold bullion purchase transactions, buyers are subject to a PPh 22 of 0.25%, which is calculated directly from the base price listed on the official Logam Mulia website.
