Antam Gold Price Plunges Rp 35,000 Today, Buyback Drops Rp 50,000

The price of gold produced by PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) Tbk., commonly known as Antam Logam Mulia, weakened again in trading today, Friday (24/7/2026). Citing data from Antam’s official website, logammulia.com, at 08:30 WIB, at the LM Graha Dipta Pulo Gadung boutique in Jakarta, the price for 1 gram of gold was set at Rp 2,605,000 per bar, a decrease of Rp 35,000 compared to the previous trading session. Today’s decline represents a significant correction after Antam’s gold had strengthened in the prior session. The drop also brings the gold price back near its lowest levels in recent months, holding steady in the range of Rp 2.6 million per gram. In line with this, the buyback price for Antam gold also corrected, falling by Rp 50,000 from the previous session to Rp 2,345,000 per gram. It should be noted that purchases of Antam gold bars are subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 at a rate of 0.25% for holders of a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and 0.5% for non-NPWP holders. Meanwhile, for buyback transactions of Antam gold exceeding Rp 10 million, a PPh Article 22 tax of 1.5% is applied for NPWP holders and 3% for non-NPWP holders, with the tax being deducted directly from the total buyback value.
