Antam Gold Price Plummets by Rp55,000 Today

Jakarta — Gold prices produced by PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) Tbk, known as Antam Logam Mulia gold, declined in trading today, Monday, 9 March 2026.

According to data from PT Antam’s official website logammulia.com at 08:37 WIB, at the LM Graha Dipta Pulo Gadung gold boutique in Jakarta, the price of 1 gram gold was quoted at Rp3,004,000 per unit today, a decrease of Rp55,000 compared to the previous trading session.

Today’s price decline cuts short optimism from gains in the previous trading session. In line with this, the Antam gold buyback price also fell. Today the buyback price stood at Rp2,757,000 per gram, down Rp65,000 from the previous trading session.

Gold prices collapsed today after soaring on Friday last week. Recent developments also show that tensions in the Middle East could have a negative impact on gold.

According to Refinitiv data, the gold price today, Monday, 9 March 2026 at 06:36 WIB, stands at US$5,083.79 per troy ounce. The price plummeted 1.7%.

This decline contrasts with Friday last week. Gold closed at US$5,169.92 per troy ounce in the last trading session of last week, Friday, 6 March 2026. The price surged 1.83%.

Nevertheless, gold prices remain down 2.03% for the week. This weakness has ended a positive streak of four consecutive weeks of gains previously.
