Antam gold price plummets by Rp55,000 to Rp3.004 million per gramme on Monday

Jakarta — Antam gold prices monitored from the Precious Metals portal in Jakarta on Monday at 09:10 WIB fell sharply by Rp55,000 from the previous level of Rp3.059 million to Rp3.004 million per gramme.

Similarly, the buyback price for Antam gold has declined to Rp2.757 million per gramme.

Antam gold prices are subject to change at any time.

Sale price transactions are subject to tax deductions in accordance with Ministry of Finance Regulation No. 34/PMK.10/2017 for all types of gold ranging from 1 gramme to 1,000 grammes (1 kilogramme).

The resale of gold bars to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value exceeding Rp10 million is subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 of 1.5 per cent for holders of a Tax Identification Number (NPWP) and 3 per cent for non-NPWP holders.

PPh 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total buyback value. The following are the latest prices for gold bar denominations recorded on the Antam Precious Metals portal:

• 0.5 gramme gold price: Rp1.552 million

• 1 gramme gold price: Rp3.004 million

• 2 gramme gold price: Rp5.948 million

• 3 gramme gold price: Rp8.897 million

• 5 gramme gold price: Rp14.795 million

• 10 gramme gold price: Rp29.535 million

• 25 gramme gold price: Rp73.712 million

• 50 gramme gold price: Rp147.345 million

• 100 gramme gold price: Rp294.612 million

• 250 gramme gold price: Rp736.265 million

• 500 gramme gold price: Rp1.472 billion

• 1,000 gramme gold price: Rp2.944 billion

Tax deductions on gold purchase prices are in accordance with Ministry of Finance Regulation No. 34/PMK.10/2017. The purchase of gold bars is subject to PPh 22 of 0.45 per cent for NPWP holders and 0.9 per cent for non-NPWP holders.

Each purchase of gold bars is accompanied by an PPh 22 withholding certificate.
