Antam Gold Price Plummets by Rp55,000 per Gram

PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk. (Antam) gold prices declined significantly during today’s trading on Monday, 9 March 2026. Antam gold prices fell by Rp55,000 per gram, continuing the downward trend from the previous day.

According to the Logam Mulia website, today’s gold price was recorded at Rp3,004,000 per gram, down compared to Saturday’s price of Rp3,059,000 per gram. Gold prices on the final weekend or Saturday, 7 March, had risen by Rp35,000 compared to the previous price.

At the start of 2026, gold prices were observed to continue rising, reaching an all-time high of Rp3.16 million per gram on 29 January 2025. On 31 January 2026, the precious metal price had collapsed by Rp260,000 per gram.

The buyback price for Antam gold bars fell by Rp65,000 today to Rp2,757,000 per gram. Buyback transactions with values exceeding Rp10 million will be subject to income tax (PPh 22) of 1.5 per cent.

This regulation aligns with the Amendment to the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 112/PMK.03/2022 regarding the Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) for individuals, business entities, and government institutions. This amendment also includes the use of the Population Identity Number (NIK) as an NPWP. PPh 22 will be automatically deducted from the total value of the sales or buyback transaction.
