Antam Gold Price Plummets Ahead of Eid, Down Rp53,000 per Gram

The price of Antam gold was monitored to have decreased by Rp53,000 from the previous level of Rp2,996,000 to Rp2,943,000 per gram today, Thursday, 19 March 2026. This is based on monitoring from the Logam Mulia website in Jakarta on Thursday morning at 09:53 WIB.

This decline is also reflected in the buyback price, which is now recorded at Rp2,665,000 per gram. “Antam gold prices can change at any time,” notes the official Logam Mulia website.

In gold bar purchase transactions, tax deductions are imposed in accordance with PMK Number 34/PMK.10/2017, applicable to all denominations from 1 gram to 1,000 grams. Meanwhile, the resale of gold bars to PT Antam Tbk with a value exceeding Rp10 million is subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22, at 1.5 percent for NPWP holders and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders. PPh 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total buyback value.

Gold purchase tax deductions, in accordance with PMK Number 34/PMK.10/2017, PPh 22 at 0.45 percent for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders. Every transaction is also accompanied by a PPh 22 withholding certificate.
