Antam gold price on Thursday edges up to Rp3,049,000 per gram

Antam gold price on Thursday rose slightly by Rp4,000 to Rp3,049,000 per gram. The buyback price for Antam gold has also edged up to Rp2,819,000 per gram. The price of Antam gold can change at any time. Sales transactions are subject to tax deductions under PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017 for all types of gold from 1 gram to 1,000 grams (1 kilogram). Reselling bullion to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value above Rp10 million is subject to Income Tax Article 22 (PPh 22) at 1.5 percent for NPWP holders and 3 percent for non-NPWP. PPh 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total buyback value. The following are the fractional bullion prices recorded on Antam’s Logam Mulia website:

• 0.5 gram: Rp1,574,500.

• 1 gram: Rp3,049,000.

• 2 gram: Rp6,038,000.

• 3 gram: Rp9,032,000.

• 5 gram: Rp15,020,000.

• 10 gram: Rp29,985,000.

• 25 gram: Rp74,837,000.

• 50 gram: Rp149,595,000.

• 100 gram: Rp299,112,000.

• 250 gram: Rp747,515,000.

• 500 gram: Rp1,494,820,000.

• 1,000 gram: Rp2,989,600,000.

Purchase tax deduction for gold bullion under PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017, PPh 22 is 0.45 percent for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP buyers. Each bullion purchase is accompanied by a PPh 22 withholding slip.
