Antam Gold Price Falls Again, Buyback Value Drops by Rp 7,000 per Gram
The price of Antam gold weakened again in trading on Saturday (20/6/2026). Not only did the selling price fall, but the buyback or repurchase price also dropped more sharply, meaning gold owners looking to sell their precious metals today must accept a lower price than the day before.
The price of 24-carat Antam gold fell by Rp 5,000 per gram to Rp 2,668,000 per gram. Meanwhile, the buyback price slumped by Rp 7,000 per gram to Rp 2,401,000 per gram.
According to the Logam Mulia Antam website, the smallest 0.5 gram gold bar is priced at Rp 1,384,000. A 10 gram bar is priced at Rp 26,175,000, while the largest 1,000 gram (1 kg) bar is priced at Rp 2,608,600,000.
The weakening price trend is also visible over a longer period. Over the past week, Antam gold prices have moved in a range of Rp 2,668,000 to Rp 2,733,000 per gram. Over the past month, prices have been in the range of Rp 2,668,000 to Rp 2,819,000 per gram.
The buyback price is the price used by Antam when repurchasing gold from consumers. This value therefore serves as a reference for people wishing to sell their gold to Antam.
In accordance with Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 81 of 2024, every buyback transaction with a value exceeding Rp 10,000,000 is subject to Article 22 Income Tax (PPh) of 1.5%. This PPh Article 22 is deducted directly from the total transaction value at the time of the buyback.
