Antam Gold Price Drops to Rp2.63 Million per Gram on Thursday

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The price of Antam gold, monitored from the Logam Mulia website in Jakarta on Thursday at 08.50 WIB, fell to Rp2,643,000 per gram, after previously being at Rp2,641,000 per gram.

Similarly, the buyback price for Antam gold also dropped to Rp2,383,000 per gram, a decrease of Rp10,000 from the previous day’s price.

Antam gold bar prices are subject to change at any time.

Sales transactions are subject to tax deductions, in accordance with Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) No. 34/PMK.10/2017 for all gold types ranging from 1 gram to 1,000 grams.

Resale of gold bars to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value exceeding Rp10 million is subject to Article 22 Income Tax (PPh) of 1.5 percent for holders of a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders.

PPh 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total buyback value. The following are the latest gold bar denominations recorded on the Logam Mulia Antam website:

• 0.5 gram gold price: Rp1,366,500.

• 1 gram gold price: Rp2,633,000.

• 2 gram gold price: Rp5,206,000.

• 3 gram gold price: Rp7,784,000.

• 5 gram gold price: Rp12,940,000.

• 10 gram gold price: Rp25,825,000.

• 25 gram gold price: Rp64,437,000.

• 50 gram gold price: Rp128,795,000.

• 100 gram gold price: Rp257,512,000.

• 250 gram gold price: Rp643,515,000.

• 500 gram gold price: Rp1,286,820,000.

• 1,000 gram gold price: Rp2,573,600,000.

Tax deductions on gold purchases are in accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017, with purchases of gold bars subject to PPh 22 of 0.45 percent for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders. Every purchase of gold bars is accompanied by a PPh 22 withholding receipt.
