Antam Gold Price Drops Rp27,000 to Rp2.606 Million per Gram

The latest price of Antam gold, monitored from the Logam Mulia website in Jakarta on Friday at 09.16 WIB, fell by Rp27,000 from Rp2,633,000 to Rp2,606,000 per gram. The buyback price for Antam gold also decreased to Rp2,333,000 per gram. However, the price of Antam gold bullion can change at any time. Any buyback transaction with a value above Rp10,000,000 will be subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 at a rate of 1.5 percent. This PPh Article 22 will be deducted directly from the total transaction value at the time of the buyback. Meanwhile, the purchase price of gold is subject to a tax of 0.25 percent of the base price listed on the official website. The complete list of base prices is as follows: 0.5 gram: Rp1,353,500; 1 gram: Rp2,606,000; 2 grams: Rp5,152,000; 3 grams: Rp7,703,000; 5 grams: Rp12,805,000; 10 grams: Rp25,555,000; 25 grams: Rp63,762,000; 50 grams: Rp127,445,000; 100 grams: Rp254,812,000; 250 grams: Rp636,765,000; 500 grams: Rp1,273,320,000; 1,000 grams: Rp2,546,600,000. In accordance with Minister of Finance Regulation No. 34/PMK.10/2017, the purchase of gold bullion is subject to PPh Article 22 at a rate of 0.45 percent for taxpayers with a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and 0.9 percent for those without. Every purchase of gold bullion is accompanied by a PPh Article 22 withholding tax receipt.
